Andrew Van Velson

Andrew joined the practice of law, and the firm, in 2018. He received his Juris Doctorate from Nebraska College of Law at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He is admitted to the Nebraska State Bar and to the District Court of Nebraska.

Andrew is a North Platte native, and is glad to be back in his home town to assist the community in whatever way he can. He is very passionate about ensuring the people of Greater Nebraska’s legal needs are met. In law school, Andrew was the Vice President of Greater Nebraska Connections. He is currently a member of the Committee for the Rural Practice Initiative and the representative to the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section for the 11th Judicial District.

Andrew is married to Heather Van Velson, and together they have three incredible children: Liam, Natalie, and Briggs. Andrew enjoys spending time with his family at home, taking the kids to rodeos so they can see the “buckin’ bulls,” and watching Husker Football or Redsox Baseball. He is currently Vice President of his church congregation, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in North Platte.
